Life After Prison: Exonerations in NYC

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Vandana Rambaran is a Stony Brook University alumni and a multimedia journalist. She is passionate about stories that impact society particularly those that deal with social reform, business, and politics.

In the Summer of 2015, Vandana traveled to Bangalore, India on a Journalism Without Walls trip, where she reported on topical issues facing villagers in Karnataka, such as water pollution and the elephant-human conflict that resulted in dozens of human deaths. She also wrote a profile on a generations-old family restaurant that is till thriving in the ever changing technological hub of Bangalore.

Currently, she is a Production Assistant at Fox News Channel and hopes to be an on-camera reporter in the future.
